The title says it all! Great game! I would say from 13 to late 20's play this game! Even older! Some people play for the drama, some play it like how they would want their own lives to be played, some play it to build homes, dream homes, or just love architecture, some play it to dress up their characters. SO MUCH IMAGINATION SO MUCH FLEXIBILITY SO MUCH SIMS!

I have not yet tried this game. I am giving it as a gift.
I am sure that the recipient will be happy with the game. She enjoys all of the Sims games.

After reading so many great reviews I was looking forwarded to playing this game. When I got it home it took nearly 30 minutes to load. Since my computer is brand new with lots of speed and memory this did not bode well. Once installed I found that, even with the tutorial and manual, the instructions were lacking.
The manual told me that I could order groceries delivered to my sim's house simply by calling. This option was not available to the sim I created. It also said that I could go to the store and by food. After spending most of my sim's money on food I found that I couldn't take it home. So all I could do was order pizza.
I like that you have so much control over the sim's actions. I do not like that I have to tell it to do everything. At one point my sim told me it was tired and wanted to go to bed. At least that is my assumption from the picture of a bed that appeared in the thought balloon. So I told it to go to sleep. It laid down, got back up and again yelled at me that it was tired. After the fifth time it finally went to sleep. Then missed its ride to work and got fired. And There is the tilt and pan. I haven't gotten that dizzy since the tea cups at Disneyland.
If you are a control freak or just like games that require you to constantly be making decisions for your character this is the game for you. For me it just is way too much work. I didn't have as much trouble raising my son as I did controlling these sims.
I gave it 2 stars for fun because I enjoyed the experience of figuring out the controls.
I gave it 2 stars overall because it is well done but like I said way too much work.

Love the game! It's so good that i wake up at 2 am just to play it... LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!... would recommend 2 buy it

I know this really is a great game since so many people have said they enjoy playing it so much. I can tell that it would be tons of fun but after trying several times to hopefully adjust to it I simply can't. The reason I give it only 2 stars is so that my review won't be overlooked.
If you have any problems with motion sickness then I would advise looking for another game. The camera panning back and forth and all around while trying to navigate a SIM's house or neighborhood sent me running to the bathroom a couple of times. I though if I kept trying I would eventually get used to it but no such luck.
The graphics are good, and the characters are adorable. I can really see the appeal of this game. That's why I gave that part 4 stars. Overall I think it's a great game - but just for those that can handle the back and forth and all around up and down and spin around stuff that you have to do to play the game. The whole concept of the game and all the different variables of outcomes is fantastic. So, it is with great sadness that I must return the game to Amazon as I can't safely play it and I can spend the money on something else. Darn my brain!!!
