This candle is made from petroleum instead of soy, so it lets off black smoke in my house. I don't feel that a $25 candle should be doing this. Not only are the fumes staining to walls, but they're also potentially unhealthy if breathed in directly.
For $25 I was also expecting a much larger candle than the 7oz one I received. I haven't used it enough to speculate about it's longevity yet, I'll be surprised if it lasts the 50 hours that Votivo promises.
I picked up the Red Currant and to me it smells exactly like grapefruit. Luckily I enjoy the scent of grapefruit, but it wouldn't have been my first choice.
It's unlikely I'll order one of these again. I originally found them for $14 at a store near my house and I thought the store was carrying the smaller size. Turns out they're selling the same exact "50 Hour" candle that Amazon is selling, but for eleven dollars cheaper. If I decide to disregard the petrol issue and investigate more of these scents, I will definitely be doing so locally.
I give this candle two stars because the throw is actually quite impressive and the scent, while not what I expected, is pleasant. To recap:
1. They're using a petroleum base instead of soy. If it's staining to my walls then who knows what it's doing to my lungs.
2. I don't believe a 7oz candle is worth $25.
3. The Red Currant shouldn't have smelled like grapefruit.
So there it is.

The candle was shipped in an expeditious manner. This is a quality purchase and I love it! There is a very good chance that I will purchase another Votivo Candle in the very near future. This candle is a great value and would make a terrific gift for anyone.

Good product. But buying in quantity, one must be careful as each company has differnet delivery rate on Amazon. If I have known better, I would have bought from a single company rather than two. But the product is good on arrival and delivered on time.

The honeysuckle Votivo candle is my favorite scent, but I haven't gone wrong with any of the Votivo products.

These candles are expensive but worth every penny! The scent fills the room and they last forever!
