 Bad product with weak hadware and lacking Customers support December 2, 2008
The product worked well just for three (3) months; event though I did not get promissed upgrade to newest software (destinator 8). I noticed first that you can upgrade memory only to 2GB maximum. Technical Support ( info@invionusa.com AND [...] was unable to explain why as I tried in vain to use 8GB SDHC memory card with 11MB transfer speed.
After three (3) months FM transmitter stopped working. I contacted both two departments here upper and got answer only from [...]. I explained to them that each time I try to use it, I get as answer: "Please connect the device to external power cord". This was happening while GPS unit was connected to provided external power supply; and every other thing is working well, inclusive battery charging.
Then I had been asked at that time to provide copy of my receipt as proof of payment. I did not get feedback since I had sent copy of the invoice. When I call, they just keep putting me on hold ..... for ever!

Very accurate maps, and very easy to use. There are a few features that are missing that I'd like, such as the ability to search POI's by name, or the ability to input lat/long coordinates, but those are trivial.
The screen is easy to read, the voice isn't annoying. The ability to play MP3's is nice, and it has a decent quality FM transmitter in it, too.
Highly recommended for a good value pick.

I purchased this Invion 3.5 inch and a 3.5 inch Garmin Streetpilot C330 GPS Navigator at the same time. One for my wife and myself, and the other for my parents. I tested them both. Out of the box the Invion required a little more savy user. But by savy, I mean I had to wipe the SD card provided and download the updated information from their website. Once that was done it performs beautifully. Rode with it from just outside Washington, D.C. to Chareleston South Carolina and its outlying suburbs. Its added features which include MP3 and AVI movie playing, and multiple saved routes as well as additional favorite addresses make it convenience. Its included stylus more than makes up for my butter fingers. It has a long battery life. It is a bonus buy for the even moderately tech savy user. If you need ease and out of the box simplicity, buy a Garmin, but at $169 - $297 (Outside of Tiger Direct) versus the $139 go for the Invion. But if you can use a smartphone, DVR, or Ipod, the Invion has the most bang for the bucks. In my limited comparison.
