| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Those who have been unfortunate enough to experience a hard drive crash will know that the time, cost and effort required to recover from such a disaster can be tremendous. The freeStor 4020 is your cost-effective solution when such problems occur. freedom9's network storage appliances provide not only basic functionality such as file sharing, but also support online backup and recovery. Unlike traditional NAS products with a limited file sharing service, the freeStor 4020 delivers an all-in-one appliance that can manage data, files and systems concurrently.A powerful backup tool, DiskSafe Express, allows users to backup both files and entire systems onto the freeStor 4020. In the event of a hard drive crash, the computer can be booted from the freeStor 4020 and the entire system recovered without having to reinstall the operating system and applications.

Unbelievable restore options May 1, 2006 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Well let me just say they are true to their word when they talk about their restore module.
The hard drive on my notebook fried on me. With one single restart, I was able to access all my presentations, local data, a govt bid I had been working on for 2 months now. It was as if I had my hard drive back again. I sent it for product warranty and got it back after about 3 weeks. I restored the image I had been working out off for all this while and its like nothing ever happened. I got it all back with a simple restart.
I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone, who has any sort of valuable data.
