GREAT DVD PLAYER, BUT DOES NOT PLAY ANY REGION November 23, 2008

This DVD play is wonderful. It has a beautiful screen and the color is great. However it is falsely advertised as any region from any country.
WRONG!!! I called the customer help line when it did not work and they told me to look at the bottom of the player and in the world icon it would have a number. It did. No. 1. meaning only region 1 dvd's. Amazon is
advertising this product wrong. The person who helped me said so. So if you are looking fo a great dvd player this is it. But if you want to play region 2,4 or anything other than 1... KEEP LOOKING!!!! I'm giving it a 5 because it is a great player. Just not a great any region, any country player.
