Manufacturer's Warranty Thirty-year warranty on frame, three-year warranty on parts and electronics, one-year warranty on labor and wear items About Exercise Bikes Despite the competition from trendy new fitness inventions, exercise bikes continue to be popular options for home exercise. They offer the same aerobic benefits of riding a bicycle at any time, in any weather, without leaving the comfort and safety of home. Exercise bikes don't take up much space, require little or no balance or coordination, and can provide an effective workout for all levels of users, from beginners to serious competitors. While the same could be said for a number of other types of home fitness equipment, the exercise bike is one of the few that allows you to watch television or read a magazine while you work out. For many people, having convenient access to quality exercise equipment is critical to sticking with a long-term exercise program.

Best complete body exercise August 14, 2008 I continue to be convinced the Scywinn Airdyne Upright Exercise Bike is the best overall complete body workout available for those of us who want to stay home to exercise. I used my sister's Airdyne (15 years old) for three years. She had foot surgery and needed it back. I have arthritis (especially in knees and back), and can use this bike with no discomfort or pressure. I am 70 years old and want to stay healthy. Therefore, I decided, immediately, to purchase a new Airdyne Upright. My new bike gives me the same exceptional workout as the old bike did; however, the seat is much more comfortable. I now have the perfect exercise equipment I will need for the rest of my life. And, I can use it in my own bedroom, in my robe, watching T.V., in complete enjoyment! My experience with Amazon could not have been better. My bike arrived without a scratch and in record time. Needless to say, I am a completely satisfied customer!
excellent bike July 6, 2008 love this bike, it did come with directions to put it together and it probably took about 30 min for me to put it together. It works great. Can't beat the price.
THIS BIKE WILL BLOW YOU AWAY June 20, 2008 I HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED THE AIR RESISTANCE TYPE OF EXERCIZER UNFORTUNATLY THERE ARE NOT TO MANY AROUND ANY MORE . THIS BIKE GIVES YOU A GREAT WORK OUT . THE FASTER YOU GO THE HARDER IT GETS . THE ONLY DOWN SIDE I SEE SO FAR IS THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTROL THE AIR HITTING YOU AS YOU PEDAL . WHEN I START MY WORK OUT I LIKE TO GET HEATED UP. BUT THE COOL BREEZE EXTENDES THAT WARM UP TIME . I ENDED UP PUTTING A PIECE OF LEATHER ON THE FAN SHROUD TO BLOCK THE WIND. WHEN I'M WARMED UP I LIFT THE LEATHER TO LET THE AIR HIT ME. THE OTHER DOWN SIDE IS I DO FEEL IT ( THE PRESSURE ) IN MY KNEES A LITTLE BIT . OTHER THAN THAT A GREAT MACHINE BUILT WELL
I LIKE MY BIKE. May 29, 2008 I am very pleased with the Schwinn exercise bike. It was relatively easy to assemble with help, most of it came assembled. The price was the lowest I could find, with free shipping!Ordering from Amazon is the way to go.
Super Bike May 18, 2008 Love this bike,it's built solid.Easy to assemble, took about a hour or so.I found the seat not to be very comfortable. With diet and exercise on this bike I lost 12 lbs in 2 weeks. I bought the Timex heart rate watch, and to my great suprise & pleasure I found it was comunicating with the bike computer. Now my heart rate is on the bike screen.I have it in my den and watch TV while working out. It's a bit noisy, but it's just a matter of turning the TV a little louder. The only problems I see is the uncomfortable seat and the seat height adjustment screw. If you want to change the height of the seat, you have to unscrew and then rescrew a long screw. It seems they could of devised a spring loaded snap in pin,for ease of use.Besides these minor glitches, its a great bike.
