Mangroomer vs. Alternate Hair Removal Options

Works ok. The actual clippers are nit fine enough to take the hair down. Needs the head from the Bodygroomer.
 Good shaver for the back and shoulders November 26, 2008

After about 3 months of using this shaver, it has now become a staple in my regimine. Your back hair does not grow in as quickly as other areas of the body, so only need to use it about 2 to 3 times a month.
Tip 1 - Use the shaver with sliding out the handle for shoulders and upper back by the neck. It has much more control when it is shorter in size.
Tip 2 - Middle and lower back need to be done by sliding the handle out but the key is to not overextend if you don't have to. It lets you stop and lock it at whatever length so you can try a few but know it takes 2 or 3 times using it to get use to it.
Tip 3 - Use the shaver on a regular basis since it is more time consuming if you let it go a few weeks.

Even with the hand held mirror I struggle to get all of the hair off my back. I'm a bit frustrated with the mangroomer, but I just started using it so I'll give it some time.

To All,
DO NOT buy this product. It doesn't work very well if at all. The only thing it's good for is duct taping a cordless to the handle so I can shave my back with a razor that actually works! If you are considering this product.......DON'T! It's a rip off!!!!!!!

To be perfectly frank, this product sucks. It's too powerful. When you turn it on the force alone makes you second guess putting it against your skin. I've given it a few tries now and each time it leaves red marks all over my back and burns for days. Additionally, the angle is actually awkward because you can't keep it in position, so when you hold it up and over your shoulder the latter half (with the blade) swings down against your skin. I just can't figure out why they didn't work a little harder to perfect the product. It's not worth even $1.
