Blisters - what are those? December 20, 2008 I was skeptical and didn't necessarily like the idea of putting goo on my feet prior to putting on trailrunners. HOWEVER, while other people's feet look like meatloaf after a couple weeks of hiking, your feet coated in the smallest dab of Sportslick will be as good as new. I no longer use Gortex shoes, 2 layers of socks, or moleskin and don't care if my feet get wet. In fact, my girlfriend now uses Sportslick when she is wearing strappy shoes to a party. Sportslick isn't too gooey and feels more waxy than anything. The primary ingredient is petroleum jelly; however, the smell and feel is much better. Overall - highly recommended even if you don't hike.
Sportslick - 3.8oz Tube March 18, 2008 Works great - recently ran a trail run that was extremely wet, because I used this product I finished the run blister and hot spot free. Great product!
Uses for Body Glide August 16, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I haven't used this product yet. They were mostly for gifts for next Christmas although I did buy one for myself. I have used Body Glide, the stick type, that I bought last year. I put it on my feet when I wear sandals without stockings and I don't get blisters. My son said he liked it when he uses his treadmill. I had seen this advertised in Prevention magazine and had searched for it in many sports stores until I finally found it on Amazon.
Works great May 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy to apply, great to prevent chaffing. Not as easy to apply as stick based products like bodyglide, but it lasts a lot longer, and less is wasted in application. Great for long days of walking in the hot sun. Never go to Disneyland without it.
Better than BodyGlide April 6, 2007 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Great stuff for long distance hiking needs. Truly believe that it beats BodyGlide.
