I started using this in a pilates class I took this fall, and it was really interesting as a prop for many exercises. Even my husband was impressed with it when I got this for use at home. I use it mainly for balancing, with one leg or two, but also for making certain exercises more difficult (such as spinal twist or corkscrew for pilates).
The product itself is well-made, and I haven't had to add air to it since I first filled it up several weeks ago.

I still go about with the same lunges, shoulder presses, squats, etc. but the inclusion of the Xerdisc adds another dimension to my workouts. My core is targeted more and I'm able to improve my sense of balance. All in all, it's a great product that adds a touch more challenge to a possibly already boring workout routine at the gym (or home!).
Plus it's fairly small-sized and handy to bring with you.
Also: I couldn't find any information on its max weight tolerance.

This is an excellent tool for core training! My trainer uses this on me every other workout and while it took a bit to figure out the balancing part, it really works!
While it may seem like you aren't getting much out of it because it's more like trying to stay on a disc that's on water, it's working even though you don't know it. I highly recommend this tool as a main stay in your workout regime.
