Dispicable, not worth any stars but it made me choose 1! December 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I agree with the other critical reviews. I have been a long-time CSI fan, and played each CSI video game and loved it all--until now. CSI New York is not for anyone! It's such a disappointment when compared to previous game play with the others in the series. If you loved the other games in the series, don't bother wasting your time with this one at all. I was so looking forward to playing over winter break during my time off (I'm a high school teacher) and I must say it has ruined a part of my R & R completely! I like to escape in the video game world during my breaks and all this game made me want was to hurry up and get it over with so I got something out of this worthless junk called CSI New York.
Relevant Evidence? December 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Compared to other CSI games (Dark Motives, etc.) I didn't enjoy this as much. I didn't feel I collected any relevant evidence and at the beginning of a new scene I had to guess what to click on. I completed all 4 games in a short period of time and did not feel challenged at all.
don't buy this December 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Don't buy this unless you like hidden pictures. All this game does is ask you to find hidden pictures. I am vastly disappointed in the producers of this game. I did not feel like Mac or Stella solving crimes, I was just a person clicking the mouse. I want to be the CSI like I was in the previous games. This game is frustrating and boring!!!!! If the review would let me I would give it zero stars.
woah, BAD December 27, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game (like everyone else has stated) is not like the other CSI games. In fact, there is no "playing" of this game at all. You just click where it tells you to click on the screen, and then after a few hours the game will be over.
There is no analyzing clues like before, no searching a crime scene. It is more like those "hidden object" games where you just search a still screen for random items that don't pertain to the case. If you find all of the items it will then unlock some sort of conversation or mini game that could be completed by a first grader.
The people don't move, they are just stationary cartoon-like characters that appear on screen when they say something.
I was really excited for another CSI game to come out because it has been a while. I have no idea why they would have changed such a good game to a hidden object game for kids. Strange!!!
Good Game!!!!!!!!!! December 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It is a Good game and different from the other C.S.I. games I have. There are Mini-Games within the game. Great Graphics!!!!!!!! I really Enjoyed playing it. It is more Challenging then my other CSI games.
