Product Description
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is high impact strength with a higher temperature rating than Low Density Polyethylene. It has higher tensile strength, good energy absorption, abrasion resistance and resists stress cracking. HDPE has a low coefficent of friction and is self lubricating. Applications include low speed bearings, tank/chute/bin linings, packing rings in chemical applications. HDPE is in the family of polyolefins.
