Product Description This is an "ester" based, non-petroleum, fuel reformulator. when mixed with combustible fuel it simply allows the carbons to be released more efficiently, thereby providing for a "cleaner" burn utilizing more fuel and less carbon leftovers. This REALLY WORKS! I've been using in my vehicles for over two years and have seen a tremendous difference in power, mileage, emissions, and maintenance. Great for personal, industrial, commerical, and governmental use.

1 Gallon Ethos Fuel Reformulator August 25, 2008 I have been using Ethos in my 2004 Buick Rendezvous for about a month now. I'm still "crunching the numbers" on the mileage because we (Oregon) do not pump our own gas, so there can be variations each time we fill and ask them not to top it off. But, my car runs sooooo much quieter and I do have to be careful when I'm driving without cruise control because I have found myself pushing 80 mph with no strain.
Hint for new users--1) Use 4 oz. per 10 gallons gas for the first two tanks, then drop to 1 or two oz/10 gal. afterwards. Disconnect both posts of the battery for at least an hour some time after each of the first 2 or 3 tanks full. Helps reset the oxygen sensors so mileage may pick up.
THANK YOU for such prompt service!!! I ordered the Gallon of Ethos plus the dispenser bottle on Wednesday and got them on Friday. That's excellent!!!
5 Star Customer service August 12, 2008 I ordered my Ethos on July 31 and this review is for the excellent customer service I received from American Earth Products.
If the product is ANYTHING like the fuel additive I used to get from AMWAY back in the early 90's, I anticipate great results. I will post another review regarding the effectiveness of the product after I burn off a tank or two with the Ethos added.
Only worth using in older cars/trucks August 12, 2008 Ethos FR is GREAT in older cars. Not for the gas mileage, but it cleans out the engine like you wouldn't believe. It can completely reverse a lot of common 'old car' problems, and start making them run like new again. It's amazing in that regard. As far as saving money at the pump, 1-2mpg increase is common, sometimes you'll see a little more, sometimes not at all.
I'd recommend this product to ANYONE driving a car older than 10-15 years old. It'll help prolong the life of your vehicle for years and years. If you want to save money on gas, probably look elsewhere. That's not to say this stuff is worthless. It's an amazing investment if your car isn't running well.
( NEW UPDATE) (Not cheap to use!) July 8, 2008 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have added this to my engine oil & gas tank as instructions say; first tank was 2 mpg more per gallon, but the 2nd time was average. The engine seems to run smoother. Our car has close to 95,000 miles on it. I have to use 2 ounces per each fill up which is around 8 gallons of gas just to average 2 extra miles per gallon. I still believe Lucas Oil Additive & Lucas Fuel Additive work just as well and are cheaper to use. My new UPDATE would be a 1 or 2 star rating. I do not plan to by any more Ethos!

Ethos Fuel Reformulator 16 oz Ethos FR
I have used Ethos fr for about 4 months now in a 2003 Mustang and a 73 MG B-GT and have noticed a couple of things: First, the MG is running much smoother and starts as if I just rebuilt the engine (never been rebuilt), but I don't know about the mileage. Second, I have noticed a difference in power and mileage in the Mustang. I did use 4oz in the first two tank fulls and 1oz for each 5gal, not 10. Idling for the Mustang has also changed. From about 900rpm to less than 7 and never rough
