Product Description When using your TV or computer, there's nothing more frustrating than encountering poor reception. Now there's a fast and effortless way to make your signal strength up to 32 times more powerful! The Motorola Signal Booster enhances analog and digital picture quality, improves cable modem communication, and reduces lost data. It's easy to install and tools are not required. This device also allows you to optimize multiple broadband devices in your home - televisions, cable set-top boxes, cable modems, VCRs, and digital radios - all from one convenient cable. Clearly, the Motorola Signal Booster is a strong alternative to weak signal quality.

No miracles but does work.. September 6, 2008 I'm pretty sceptical about such devices but I decided to take a chance on this one since I have trouble pulling in some of the clear/unscrambled digital channels with two different QAM tuners.
First I tried the easy way and hooked it up inside where the cable comes into the wall from outside. No difference..didn't work. Next I tried it the correct way and went outside and installed it at the earliest place possible (used it instead of a cable co installed 2-way splitter) and WALLAH! I now get the one clear QAM channel I couldn't pull in before! I must say that the picture quality of the channels I was already getting didn't seem to change at all, so if you're looking at this device for that purpose it may or may not work for you.
Better then expected September 1, 2008 I did not think this product was going to work, but much to my pleasant surprise it works. My reception is MUCH better. The only issue is a few channels still don't come in, but compared to what I had before, no complaints.
TV Antenna amplifier August 27, 2008 The delivery and everything were excellent but the product did not amplify the TV signal as I had expected. Talking with motorola, We concluded that product was not going to solve the amplification problem.

I bought this booster to improve my indoor reception to my HDTV. I used an amplified indoor antenna as my source. Apparently, it's not producing enough signal to be amplified. I'm going to have to figure out another way to get a s signal. Apparently, my house's walls reduce the signal too much. Either with or without the booster, I don't see several channels. In other words, I'm not sure this booster works.
