Haven't read the whole book yet. However what I have read is fascinating and thoroughly enjoyable, to me. I am learning tidbits and ideas that come together and make sense of some long time curiosities. The answers to some of the "whys?" are "Ahhhh, that makes sense." Reading is relatively easy and goes quickly. (Ordered this with another book and read it first, is the reason it's uncompleted.) For me, getting the answers in the exercises has been the difficult part....however Ainslee does caution the reader on this. I am excited to complete the rest of the book and am also gently pacing myself to absorb it at my rate. I recommend it and have purchased it as a gift.

Okay, the more I read this book, the more offended I am by the author's politics and his need to spout his judgements about certain people, demographics and beliefs. He's a liberal that constantly looks down his nose at conservatives/the right as xenophobic, ignorant buffoons. In doing so, he exposes his own lack of spiritual evolution. "An inescapable fact that younger souls tend to be more conservative, while older souls are usually more progressive." says, as far as I'm concerned, "If you don't embrace gay marriage and support abortion rights, you are a little, sophomoric soul that needs to learn to agree with me in order to grow and be embraced by God." I don't care whom people chose to love, I just don't want the sacred institution of marriage to be altered by a minority that wants to corrupt a tradition that is the foundation of the nuclear family. I also think that if a soul is supposed to evolve, it first must be allowed to incarnate to do so.
I don't see how that ties in with the subject of spiritual evolution. He's manipulating his readers to believe that if they disagree with his political platform, they're unevolved souls. Liberals are only open-minded if you agree with them. Well I disagree with this guy, and I know I am following my soul's purpose without his judgements. So I don't need his book.

The Instruction: Living the Life Your Soul Intended Thanks to Oprah I found out about this beautiful spiritual well written book. Since the DaVinci Code, this is the 2nd time I pick up a book that I cannot put down, I spent hours, mnts and every single free second reading it - I learned extremely a lot about myself, my fears, my phobias that it open a new door to my true self. I recommend buying it for keeps. I am buying for family, friends, neighbors - I just wish it was translated into other languages. Take your time to read it. this will also help you how to meditate (what an amazing expirience communicating with your inner soul OR contacting your spiritual guides THIS MIGHT BE!) Read, Meditate and follow the instructions to discover your sould age,type, your missions,your talents and it will help you understand why people or you act they way they do. So far, I know I am a sould 9 and know this makes me live my life differently - in STILLNESS and following the teachings of Eckart Tolle. I would love to see Oprah and Macloud conducting a web class as she did with ET. LOVE IT, BUY IT AND LIVE THE LIFE YOUR SOUL WAS INTENDED TO LIVE.
